In-Store Tasting

 I can't believe this is our 20th anniversary ! ! This is always a fun and crazy sort of tasting. With over 75 beer and 50 wines I can understand why.  People seem to come out of the woodwork for this tasting.  Rick has put together some great beers to be sampled and we are working on some nice wines to compliment them.  A full listing will be posted the week of the tasting. 

 BLOODY MARY TASTING

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

FEB. 7TH  11:00 - 2:00 PM

We have talked about having this tasting for several years, but finally my brother-in-law has convinced me to try it on Super Bowl Sunday.  And because he has convinced me, I decided to put him in charge.  We will have two different vodkas to use as the "constant" of the experiment - Sobieski Vodka, imported from Poland and Snow Queen Vodka from Kazakhstan, formerly part of the old USSR.

We will then have 1/2 dozen different Bloody Mary mixes to use along with all the fixings like olives, celery salt, etc.  My brother-in-law, Ken Paddock will be there to mix it up for you to help you decided what mix is the best.

PS : For the record, I don't like Bloody Marys. But I might be able to help with a chaser because we will have some beers available to sample as well.

Reserve Red Tasting

SATURDAY, FEB. 20th  7:30 - 10:00 PM

$50.00 Per Person / Reservations Required

Lehman Mansion / Lake Villa

This is our premier wine tasting of the year.  Over 75 "Reserve-Style" wines, all red with a few whites thrown in to cleanse your palate, being tasted in the beautiful setting of the historic Lehman Mansion.  Heavy appetizers will be served throughout the tasting.  The price of admission also includes a hand-blown glass by Masterpiece Crystal.

Reservations are required.  We recommend you book early as this tasting does sell out ! Tickets are available to reserve by phone or e-mail.
